ABA Therapy
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy is a scientifically-based and evidence-informed therapy for children with autism. It identifies any skill your child struggles with and teaches it to them step by step.
ABA therapy with Adept ABA
The Adept ABA approach involves working together as a team, to address skill deficits and challenging behaviors. We do this by following the latest research and implementing NDBI’s (Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions). NDBI's combine the behavioral and child developmental sciences in an enjoyable way. This allows Adept ABA to deliver high-quality ABA therapy resulting in great gains for your child!

Almost 6 years ago, our son had zero language or alternative communication skills, couldn’t play functionally with even the most basic baby toy, was nowhere near toilet trained, and didn’t even respond to his name. We wondered if his brain was developing at all. After intensive ABA therapy, he has developed incredible receptive language skills and effectively communicates wants and needs. The magical secret is that we use Project ImPACT, a research-backed NDBI technique, to coach you in transforming ordinary moments (such as breakfast, bath time, or building train tracks) into learning moments. Helping your child doesn’t mean adding responsibilities to your endless to-do list. No flashcards. No pressure. Just you and your child, doing life together.

We collaborate with your child's family, school and medical professionals, so your child has consistent support everywhere.

…her language blossomed, and she learned to follow classroom rules
When my daughter began ABA, she had no eye contact and did not even respond to her name. She couldn’t communicate what she wanted. We often felt very overwhelmed when she was frustrated because we didn’t know what she wanted or how to help. She would play by herself. After a year of ABA, she learned to communicate and was integrated into a mainstream preschool, with full ABA support. During that year, she blossomed. She learned to follow classroom rules and began playing with friends. We are truly thankful for all the skills she learned!

When our BCBA, Rochel, first began working with my son, he was violent, aggressive, and, at times, downright dangerous. His behaviors were so severe that his teacher had developed a plan for evacuating the entire classroom if needed. Rochel worked with him to gain the skills he desperately needed and the tools that allowed him to connect with the world around him. Today, my son is in college, halfway around the world, independent, thriving, and building a life that once felt impossible. Every milestone he reaches is a direct result of the foundation ABA taught him.
